EXCHANGE CLUB FRC’S ‘NIGHT AT THE MOVIES’ SCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY 25TH AT ROME CITY AUDITORIUM

The 20th annual “Night at the Movies” to benefit the Exchange Club’s Family Resource Center is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, February 25th. This year, it will be held at a new location – the Rome City Auditorium. Attendees will enjoy the classic film “Casablanca”.

Tina Bartleson, FRC Executive Director, states that the event has been moved from the Rome Cinemas as that theatre is currently for sale. She adds that the City Auditorium is the perfect spot to watch a movie, with the facility’s newly upgraded sound and projector system.

This event will begin at 6 pm at the Seven Hills Building next to the DeSoto Theatre, at which guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and libations to be offered local restaurants. They will head over to the City Auditorium at 7:15 pm, and the screening of “Casablanca” will begin at 7:45 pm.

Proceeds from “Night at the Movies” will benefit the FRC’s mission of child abuse prevention, asserts Bartleson.

Tickets cost $55 per person, $100 per couple and $45 each for groups of 10 or more. They may be purchased online at www.exchangeclubfrc.org or by calling (706) 290-0764.

Over the past couple of decades, “Night at the Movies” has raised more than $275,000 for the Exchange Club Family Resource Center.
