It’s time for bull riding at the Forum River Center in downtown Rome! The 15th annual Three Rivers Invitational Bull Riding event is set for tonight and Saturday night; doors will open at 6 pm with bull riding to start at 8 pm each night.
Some of the world’s top cowboy athletes have been invited to compete in the event, according to promoter Kevin Ellis. That list of competitors includes a couple of locals, Ethan Ray and Hayden Burdick. They will showdown with award-winning livestock from the 4L and Diamond S Rodeo Company.
Advanced tickets may be purchased at the discounted rate of $15 for general admission and $25 for the Wrangler VIP tickets at United Community Bank branches at Mount Berry Square, Adairsville and Summerville; Sam’s Burger Deli, West Express, and Lavender Mountain Hardware in Rome; Haney Farm and Ranch in Rockmart and Mathis Trailers and Equipment Sales locations in Rome and Leesburg, AL.
Admission at the gate is $18 for general admission and $28 for the Wrangler VIPs. Children ages five and under will be admitted free of charge. All VIPs will be granted entry into the VIP room, sponsored by Wrangler, in which the ticket holders may enjoy refreshments and a meet and greet.
Ellis asserts that the Forum River Center offers an intimate setting for the bull riding event; there’s not a bad seat in the house.
