NEW CITY COMMISSIONER MARK COCHRAN SEEKS TO REVAMP THE ULDC

Newly minted Rome City Commissioner Mark Cochran supports an effort to completely revamp the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC). The code should be redeveloped to make it more user-friendly, asserts Cochran, a local architect and owner of CEVIAN Design Lab. He indicates that he has gotten both positive and negative feedback on this proposal.

Certain aspects of the current ULDC – such as zoning – should stay the same, says Cochran. The plan as a whole, however, needs some modifications.

Cochran was elected back in November to his post in Ward One of the Rome City Commission. He attests that he is open to input on this and on any other matters that concern Romans.
