Rome-based Brighter Birthdays is preparing to celebrate their own birthday! The organization will host a special event on Sunday, March 1st to celebrate their fourth birthday. It will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm at Restoration Rome, 1400 Crane Street. Attendees will help fill backpacks, enjoy cupcakes, make cards, have a shot at door prizes, and more.
Cristin Warden, the founder of Brighter Birthdays, says that her organization exists to ensure that all kids, regardless of their socio-economic background, have a happy birthday. The mission is accomplished through the distribution of backpacks, each filled with gifts, toiletries, school supplies, and everything you need to throw a party.
The public is invited to join Brighter Birthdays’ 4th birthday celebration, says Warden. Some 400 backpacks will be filled by volunteers at that event.
