The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Orlando Magic 135-126 at Orlando on Monday night. The four-game season series among the teams now stands at 2-1 in favor of the Hawks.

Trae Young led all players in scoring with 29 points for Atlanta. John Collins had 22 points.

Aaron Gordon was Orlando’s top scorer with 26 points. Nikola Vucevic had 24 points, while Evan Fournier scored 22 points.

The Hawks have fallen to 15-40 on the season. They will be in Cleveland to face the Cavaliers this Wednesday night at 7 pm. The Cavs’ record is 13-40, slightly worse than that of the Hawks; Cleveland is currently in last place of the NBA’s Eastern Conference.
