The United Way of Rome & Floyd County now offers an online directory to those who wish to learn about non-profit organizations and other resources in this area.
The Resource and Information Directory is basically intended to be a digital answer to the 211 community information line, says Alli Mitchell, Executive Director. It is available at www.uwrome.org/guide and lists names and phone numbers of area non-profits in categories to include housing, food assistance,
adoption and more.
Also now featured on the site – an 80-page Online Community Resource and Engagement Guide. This guide offers basic information about various groups (to include civic organizations) and is full of live links, adds Mitchell.
