HAWKS FALL TO 76ERS IN PHILLY

The Atlanta Hawks lost to the Philadelphia 76ers 129-112 in Philadelphia on Monday evening. This allowed the 76ers to take a 2-1 lead in the four-game season series between the teams.

Joel Embiid led the charge with a career-high 49 points and 14 rebounds for the 76ers, who were without Ben Simmons due to injury.

Trae Young notched a team-high 28 points and had 10 assists for the Hawks, who saw a two-game winning streak come to an end. DeAndre Hunter added 22 points, while John Collins had 21 points.

The Hawks have now fallen to 17-42 on the season. They will return to State Farm Arena in Atlanta this Wednesday night to open a four-game homestand with a match against the Orlando Magic; tip off is set for 7:30 pm.
