LOCAL POLITICAL PARTIES AIM TO CONNECT WITH VOTERS

Those running for office in 2020 elections have been out in force to connect with local voters.

Luke Martin, Chair of the Floyd County Republican Party, says that a wealth of candidates have been on hand for GOP events to meet voters ever since the beginning of this year.

Ruth Demeter, Chair of the Floyd County Democratic Party, asserts that it is good that voters have options when they go to the polls. She says, “where we don’t have a choice, we don’t have a democracy”.
