HAWKS FALL TO MAGIC AT STATE FARM ARENA

The Atlanta Hawks fell to the Orlando Magic 130-120 on Wednesday night at the State Farm Arena, which resulted in a 2-2 split in the season series among the teams.

Trae Young had a game-high 37 points for Atlanta, though he was plagued by flu-like symptoms; he also had 11 assists. John Collins added 26 points.

Evan Fournier led the charge for Orlando with 28 points. Aaron Gordon had 25 points and 10 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic also contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds.

The Hawks have now fallen into last place of the NBA’s Eastern Conference with a record of 17-43. They will host the Brooklyn Nets on Friday evening; tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
