The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism has announced a road closure for this coming Monday, March 9th and Tuesday, March 10th on East 2nd Avenue from East 9th Street and East 12th Street; traffic will be detoured around the area.

According to a release by the tourism office, the closure will be in effect each of those days from 9 am to 3 pm and from 6:30 pm to 9 pm in order to create a safe, secure working environment for a film production crew. Filming itself will take place on private property and will not be open to the public during production related activity.

Residents and businesses in the area will be granted access to their properties, but may be asked to wait momentarily at the ends of the road closure until the production crew can be properly notified of oncoming traffice.
