The Hospitality House for Women, Inc. is teaming up with the Berry College Department of Nursing to offer a “Spa Day” to women at the House in April. A supply drive is being held now through Friday, March 28th to gather items for the event, says Liberty Grant, Community Outreach Coordinator.
Grant attests that donations from the public to the supply drive are welcome. Needed items include face masks, lotions and feminine hygiene products, as well as planners and journals. These may be taken to several locations on the Berry College campus, including the library and the Nursing Department.
The Hospitality House for Women, Inc. will also benefit from the Downtown Loft Tour slated for Saturday, April 4th. That event will be hosted by Rome’s Downtown Development Authority. More information is posted on the event Facebook page.
Grant indicates that shopping at the Hospitality House Thrift Store is another way to support the House. The store is located at 610 Shorter Avenue.
