EARLY VOTING CONTINUES IN THE MARCH 24TH PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY

Early voting continues in the March 24th Presidential Preference Primary. It will be offered each day this week from 8 am until 5 pm at the Floyd County Elections Office, at the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue, and at Garden Lakes Baptist Church, 2200 Redmond Circle.

Weekend voting will be offered Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm at the Elections Office and at the Rome Civic Center and on Sunday from 1 pm until 5 pm at the Civic Center.

Voters may cast their ballots in advance at the Elections Office and the Civic Center next week during the final week of early voting.

All local voting precincts will be open on Election Day (Tuesday, March 24th) from 7 am to 7 pm.

Donald J. Trump is the lone candidate on Republican voters’ ballot statewide. There are 12 candidates listed on the Democratic ballot, although most have opted to suspend their campaigns; those currently still in the running are Joe Biden, Tulsi Gabbard, and Bernie Sanders.
