ROME POLICE MAKING AN EFFORT TO PROTECT OFFICERS AND THE PUBLIC AMID CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

Local law enforcement officers are doing their part to protect themselves and others amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Denise Downer-McKinney, Chief of the Rome Police Department, states that officers have been issued masks, sanitizers and gloves; however, it’s business as usual for the RPD, which continues its mission to protect the public.
