UPDATE 3/21/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 555 STATEWIDE, 20 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 555 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening. Floyd County has 8 confirmed cases at the time of this report.  There have been 20 deaths related to the coronavirus. The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (99), Bartow (56), and Cobb (50).  The DPH is now updating the COVID-19 daily status report twice daily at noon and at 7 pm. It is available online at www.dph.georgia.gov.
