THIS COULD GET TRICKY – THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS INTO NWGA COINCIDES WITH THE ARRIVAL OF SPRING ALLERGIES

The spread of COVID-19 here into Northwest Georgia has coincided with the return of Spring allergies. And flu season is still underway; it can last until as late as May.

Logan Boss, Public Information Officer at the Georgia Department of Public Health, Northwest Health District, anticipates that in the coming days, many people will be coughing, sneezing, sniffling and afflicted by sore throat. But if you experience shortness of breath, Boss says that it is time to contact your healthcare provider. This is the most severe symptom of coronavirus.
