UPDATE 3/23/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 800 STATEWIDE, 26 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 800 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. Monday. Floyd County has 10 confirmed cases at the time of this report.  There have been 26 deaths related to the coronavirus. The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (152), Cobb (79) and Bartow (61).

The DPH is now updating the COVID-19 daily status report twice daily at noon and at 7 pm. It is available online at www.dph.georgia.gov.
