THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE DAY OF GEORGIA’S PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY, IF NOT FOR COVID-19

This would have been the date of Georgia’s Presidential Preference Primary election. The primary was postponed earlier this month due to concerns over the coronavirus; it is now slated to be held as a part of the general election set for May 19th.

If you already voted early, you will not have to vote again in the Presidential Preference Primary. And you will still have your say on key races which were already up for a vote on May 19th, says Dr. Tom Rees, Chairman of the Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration, who adds a list of candidates for President of the US will appear on the May 19th ballots of those who have not voted in that particular race.
