UPDATE 3/28/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 2446 STATEWIDE, 79 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 2446 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Floyd County has 27 confirmed cases at the time of this report.  There have been 79 deaths related to the coronavirus. The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (378), Dekalb (246), Dougherty (224), Cobb (185), Gwinnett (131) and Bartow (117)

The DPH is now updating the COVID-19 daily status report twice daily at noon and at 7 pm. It is available online at www.dph.georgia.gov.
