UPDATE 4/2/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 5444 STATEWIDE, 176 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 5444 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020. Floyd County has 78 confirmed cases and 2 deaths at the time of this report.  There have been 176 deaths related to the coronavirus in Georgia.  The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (747), Dougherty (521), Dekalb (409), Cobb (341), Gwinnett (303), Clayton (165), and Bartow (153)
