UPDATE 4/2/20 (NOON): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 5348 STATEWIDE, 163 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 5348 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 12-noon on Wednesday, April 2, 2020.  Floyd County has 71 confirmed cases and 2 deaths at the time of this report.  There have been 163 deaths related to the coronavirus. The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (712), Dougherty (507), Dekalb (396), Cobb (329), Gwinnett (282), Clayton (148) and Bartow (147).
