UPDATE 4/3/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 5967 STATEWIDE, 198 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 5967 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020. Floyd County has 79 confirmed cases and 3 deaths at the time of this report.  There have been 198 deaths related to the coronavirus in Georgia.  The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (910), Dougherty (607), Dekalb (483), Cobb (422), Gwinnett (353), Clayton (206), and Bartow (159).
