UPDATE 4/7/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 9156 STATEWIDE, 348 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 9156 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Floyd County has 92 confirmed cases and 3 deaths at the time of this report.  Bartow County has 191 confirmed cases with 12 deaths reported.  Polk County has 20 confirmed cases and Chattooga County has 4 with 1 reported death.  Gordon County has 25 confirmed cases with 3 reported deaths.  There have been 348 deaths related to the coronavirus in Georgia.

The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (1185), Dougherty (973), Dekalb (673), Cobb (566), and Gwinnett (540).
