UPDATE 4/9/20 (NOON): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 10,566 STATEWIDE, 379 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 10,566 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 12-noon on Thursday, April 9, 2020.  Floyd County has 99 confirmed cases and 4 deaths at the time of this report.  The number of confirmed cases in Polk County (22), Gordon County (26), Chattooga County (5), and Bartow (196).  Bartow County has 12 reported deaths related to Coronavirus.  There have been 379 deaths related to the coronavirus. The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (1276), Dougherty (1020), Dekalb (742), Cobb (629), Gwinnett (603), and Clayton (297).
