The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 11,859 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2020. Floyd County has 104 confirmed cases and 5 deaths at the time of this report. Bartow County has 208 confirmed cases with 15 deaths reported. Polk County has 21 confirmed cases and Chattooga County has 4 with 1 reported death. Gordon County has 29 confirmed cases with 3 reported deaths. There have been 425 deaths related to the coronavirus in Georgia.
The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (1417), Dougherty (1072), Dekalb (826), Cobb (681), and Gwinnett (669).
