UPDATE 4/11/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 12,261 STATEWIDE, 432 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 12,261 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Floyd County has 107 confirmed cases and 5 deaths at the time of this report.  Bartow County has 211 confirmed cases with 15 deaths reported.  Polk County has 22 confirmed cases and Chattooga County has 6 with 1 reported death.  Gordon County has 33 confirmed cases with 3 reported deaths.  There have been 432 deaths related to the coronavirus in Georgia.

The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (1446), Dougherty (1102), Dekalb (848), Cobb (705), and Gwinnett (681).
