UPDATE 4/12/20 (NOON): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 12,452 STATEWIDE, 433 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 12,452 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 12-noon on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Floyd County has 108 confirmed cases and 5 deaths at the time of this report.  Bartow County has 212 confirmed cases with 15 deaths reported.  Polk County has 22 confirmed cases and Chattooga County has 6 with 1 reported death.  Gordon County has 35 confirmed cases with 3 reported deaths.  There have been 433 deaths related to the coronavirus in Georgia.

The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (1467), Dougherty (1154), Dekalb (869), Cobb (714), and Gwinnett (690).
