UPDATE 4/14/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 14,578 STATEWIDE, 524 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 14,578 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. There have been 524 deaths related to the coronavirus in Georgia.  Floyd County has 120 confirmed cases and 6 deaths at the time of this report.  Bartow County has 230 confirmed cases with 17 deaths reported.  Polk County has 25 confirmed cases and Chattooga County has 8 with 1 reported death.  Gordon County has 45 confirmed cases with 3 reported deaths.

The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (1812), Dougherty (1297), Dekalb (1144), Cobb (895), and Gwinnett (815).
