ROME-FLOYD CHAMBER, UGA SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER POISED TO ASSIST SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS IMPACTED BY CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

The Rome-Floyd Chamber reminds all local small business owners who have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic that help is available.

Jeanne Krueger, President and CEO, attests that these have been challenging times. Small business owners are encouraged to visit www.romega.com for a list of resources to help them survive the challenges posed by this pandemic. The Chamber has teamed with the UGA Small Business Development Center in Rome to offer assistance and wise counsel to entrepreneurs in need.

Richard Montanaro, SBDC area director, says that the services offered by the center are funded by taxpayer dollars. The SBDC can provide direction about assistance for which local small business owners could be eligible, along with potential alternatives for those not eligible for assistance.

Montanaro urges all small business owners to call (706) 622-2006 or visit the website www.georgiasbdc.org for assistance. The Rome-Floyd Chamber can be reached by phone at (706) 291-7663.
