UPDATE 4/15/20 (7:00 P.M.): CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 15,260 STATEWIDE, 576 DEATHS NOW REPORTED

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported that there have been 15,260 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  There have been 576 deaths related to the coronavirus in Georgia.  Floyd County has 120 confirmed cases and 6 deaths at the time of this report.  Bartow County has 237 confirmed cases with 20 deaths reported.  Polk County has 27 confirmed cases and Chattooga County has 9 with 1 reported death.  Gordon County has 48 confirmed cases with 5 reported deaths.

The counties in Georgia with the highest confirmed cases are Fulton (1902), Dougherty (1320), Dekalb (1225), Cobb (950), and Gwinnett (885).
