DPH: GEORGIA’S NUMBER OF CORONAVIRUS CASES IS NEARING THE 20,000 MARK

The number of coronavirus cases in Georgia is approaching the 20,000 mark, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 19,398 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 6:30 pm on Monday evening. There were 774 fatalities due to coronavirus. In Floyd County, there were 126 confirmed cases and nine fatalities. Fulton County led this state in number of confirmed cases with 2,198. The highest number of fatalities was reported in Dougherty County, which has had 98.
