NUMBER OF CORONAVIRUS CASES IN GEORGIA NOW EXCEEDS 21,000

The number of coronavirus cases in Georgia has now exceeded 21,000, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 21,102 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 6:30 pm on Wednesday night. There were 846 fatalities due to coronavirus. In Floyd County, there were 128 confirmed cases and eight fatalities. Fulton County led the state in number of confirmed cases with 2,255. The highest number of fatalities was reported in Dougherty County, which has had 106.
