GEORGIA’S NUMBER OF CORONAVIRUS CASES NEARING 22,000

The number of coronavirus cases across Georgia is approaching 22,000, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 21,883 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across this state as of 6:30 pm on Thursday night. There were 881 fatalities due to coronavirus. In Floyd County, there were 128 confirmed cases and eight fatalities. Fulton County led the state in number of confirmed cases with 2,436. The highest number of fatalities was reported in Dougherty County, which has had 109.
