SOME GEORGIA BUSINESSES WILL RE-OPEN TODAY

Today is the day that a number of businesses across Georgia which had been closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak will be permitted to re-open. That list includes gyms, fitness centers, bowling alleys, body art studios, barbers, hair designers, cosmetologists, nail care artists, estheticians, all of their respective schools, and massage therapists.

City of Rome officials are urging local businesses that do plan to re-open to follow the Minimum Basic Operations established in Governor Brian Kemp’s executive order. A chart which outlines those requirements is featured on the City of Rome, GA’s Facebook page.

Theaters and private social clubs will be permitted to re-open, and restaurants may resume dine-in services on Monday.

Governor Kemp’s plans to begin re-opening this state have drawn quite a bit of criticism nationally, even that of President Trump.
