MORE THAN 25,000 CONFIRMED CASES OF CORONAVIRUS NOW REPORTED IN GEORGIA

More than 25,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus have now been reported in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 25,142 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide as of 5:30 am this morning. Some 1,037 people have lost their lives because of coronavirus. Here in Floyd County, there were 137 confirmed cases and 11 fatalities. Fulton County led this state in the number of confirmed cases with 2,753. The highest number of deaths was reported in Dougherty County, which has had 118.
