MORE THAN 26,000 NOW INFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS ACROSS THE STATE

Over 26,000 Georgians have now been infected with the coronavirus, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 26,415 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across Georgia as of 5:30 am this morning. Some 1,135 people have lost their lives due to the coronavirus. In Floyd County, there were 144 confirmed cases and 11 fatalities. Fulton County continues to lead the state in number of confirmed cases with 2,822. The highest number of fatalities was reported in Dougherty County, which has had 120.
