‘AMERICA STRONG’ TAKES FLIGHT OVER ATLANTA

The US Navy’s Blue Angels and the US Air Force’s Thunderbirds blazed the skies over Atlanta this past Saturday. The elite jet demonstration teams were here in the Peach State as part of America Strong, a nationwide tribute to the healthcare workers, first responders, and others on the front lines in the battle against coronavirus.

John Cowman, the President of JLC Airshow Management, echoes the teams’ appreciation of those currently waging war on COVID-19.

Cowman’s air show company presents Wings Over North Georgia at Rome’s Russell Regional airport. He hopes that air shows will resume across the US around the 4th of July.

The Thunderbirds are slated to make a third appearance at Wings Over North Georgia in 2020. This year’s air show is set for October 24th and 25th. Tickets are now available for purchase at www.wingsovernorthgeorgia.com. The US Army’s Golden Knights are the co-headliners.

Updates on the Thunderbirds’ and Blue Angels’ America Strong tour may be obtained via both teams’ social media outlets.
