DPH: STATEWIDE CORONAVIRUS CASES APPROACHING 30,000

Georgia’s number of coronavirus cases is approaching 30,000 as the death toll nears 1,250, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 29,423 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide as of 5:30 am this morning. There were 1,246 deaths due to the coronavirus. In Floyd County, there were 150 confirmed cases and 11 deaths. Fulton County led the state number of confirmed cases with 3,057, as well as fatalities with 129.
