KRFB ADJUSTS EFFORTS TO MAINTAIN A CLEANER COMMUNITY AMID PANDEMIC

Here is a message from Keep Rome Floyd Beautiful regarding PPE (personal protective equipment) – when you have finished using it, please dispose of it responsibly.

Emma Wells, KRFB Director, asserts that her organization has witnessed an uptick in littered masks and gloves, along with more graffiti, in these days of coronavirus.

As residents of Rome and Floyd County enjoy parks and public spaces, Wells hopes that they will place their litter in the proper receptacles.

Wells says that KRFB is currently tasked with figuring out how to host clean-up events in the days of social distancing.

Those who would like to organize a clean-up of their own are urged by Wells to reach out to KRFB for a litter kit.
