MORE THAN 38,000 GEORGIANS HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH THE CORONAVIRUS

More than 38,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 38,283 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of 7 pm on Monday night. There were 1,649 deaths related to the coronavirus. In Floyd County, there were 187 confirmed cases and 13 deaths. Fulton County reported the highest number of confirmed cases with 3,751 and highest number of fatalities with 171.

The Georgia Department of Public Health now updates their COVID-19 daily status report three times per day – at 9 am, 1 pm and 7 pm. It may be viewed online at www.dph.georgia.gov.
