HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF COOSA VALLEY IS ON THE MOVE

The community has rallied to support Habitat for Humanity of Coosa Valley’s ReStore since it re-opened to the public at the beginning of May, according to Betsy Allgood, Executive Director. Sales and donations have been on the rise as this area transitions to a ‘new normal’ in the days of coronavirus.

Allgood announced on Friday that the ReStore and Habitat’s Administrative Offices will relocate to 504 East First Avenue, effective July 7th. This location is behind Central Plaza at the former Pops Antique building. The last day for business at the current location on Three Rivers Drive will be June 27th. The ReStore will offer special sales throughout the month of June, including 25 % off customers’ total purchases on Saturdays. Allgood encourages all Romans to head to the ReStore, shop, and save!

Donations will be accepted at the old location every Tuesday through Friday from 10 am until 4 pm through Friday, June 26th. Donation pick-ups may be arranged by calling (706) 378-5957.

Allgood urges shoppers to observe social distancing protocols when shopping at the ReStore.

Habitat for Humanity of Coosa Valley will soon hold a groundbreaking for its 57th home, adds Allgood.
