MORE THAN 47,000 GEORGIANS HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH THE CORONAVIRUS

Over 47,000 have been infected with coronavirus as the death toll has passed 2,000 in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 47,063 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the Peach State as of 7 pm on Sunday night. There were 2,053 deaths related to the coronavirus. Here in Floyd County, there were 265 confirmed cases and 15 fatalities. Fulton County reported the highest number of confirmed cases with 4,524 and the highest number of deaths with 235.
