GEORGIA STATE PARKS AND HISTORIC SITES HAVE WELCOMED QUITE A FEW VISITORS IN RECENT MONTHS

Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites have been quite busy in recent months as people seek refuge in the great outdoors amid these days of coronavirus.

Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator, indicates that playgrounds, visitors centers, and pools are closed, but the parks and historic sites are open for the public to enjoy.

Access to some parks may be temporarily limited from time to time in order to promote social distancing. Visit www.gastateparks.org for updates, as well as for information on amenities, accommodations and events at parks around the state.
