CORONAVIRUS HAS POSED A CHALLENGE TO FUNDRAISING FOR LOCAL NON-PROFITS, INCLUDING HOSPITALITY HOUSE

COVID-19 has posed a challenge to fundraising efforts for local non-profits. Such is the case for Hospitality House for Women, Inc. Lynn Rousseau, the Executive Director, asserts that her main goal at this time is to keep the doors of the House open to victims of domestic violence.

One way to support Hospitality House is to donate to its Thrift Store, located on Shorter Avenue. So if you spent time cleaning out your closets during the shelter-in-place and have some stuff you no longer need, Rousseau urges you to take that stuff to the Thrift Store!

Concerned citizens are also encouraged to make purchases through Amazon Smile and choose Hospitality House for Women, Inc. as a supporting charity; a percentage of those purchases will be donated by Amazon to the House.

If you are unable to donate money, you can offer your time to the Hospitality House as a volunteer at the Thrift Store or at the shelter.
