WANT TO GO CAMPING THIS SUMMER? GEORGIA STATE PARKS AND HISTORIC SITES URGES YOU TO RESERVE YOUR CAMPSITE IN ADVANCE!

Are you itching to go camping this summer? Be sure to make reservations in advance if you aim to camp with Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites. This is the advice of Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator, who encourages the public to visit www.gastateparks.org to see what campsites are available.

Hatcher adds that many cabins have recently been renovated at parks around the state, including Red Top Mountain on Lake Allatoona and Fort Mountain in Chatsworth.

The Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites Park Guide is a useful resource to those planning a summer vacation. It is featured on the website and may also be obtained via mail by calling 1-800-864-7275.
