GEORGIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY RESUMES 2020 SESSION ‘UNDER THE GOLD DOME’

The Georgia General Assembly resumed their 2020 session on Monday after a hiatus due to coronavirus.

Eddie Lumsden, Representative for the 12th District in the Georgia House of Representatives, is happy to be back at work ‘under the Gold Dome’. Social distancing will be the norm, just as it had been before the session was halted back in mid-March right after Crossover Day.

Lawmakers are now tasked with balancing the state’s budget in economically challenging times; it is a task that must be completed by the end of this Fiscal Year on June 30th.
