HARBOR HOUSE GRATEFUL FOR GRANT FUNDING DURING THIS TIME BUT STILL SEEKS DONATIONS FROM THE COMMUNITY

Harbor House – The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center is thankful for grant funding in this time of coronavirus, as fundraising opportunities in the community have slowed.

Joe Costolnick, Executive Director, indicates that grant funding has not been impacted by the pandemic. However, community donations have decreased as the future of fundraising events like the annual Roman Rumble (normally held in September) is now uncertain.

Guidance from the CACGA (or Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia) has been beneficial during these trying times, adds Costolnick.

Concerned citizens may get more information and make a donation to Harbor House by calling (706) 235-5437. All donations from the community will be applied towards operational costs, attests Costolnick.

Harbor House – The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center serves as an advocate for children that might have been victims of abuse. It also provides child abuse prevention programs, along with intervention in situations where abuse may have occurred.
