Nearly 65,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.
According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 64,701 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as of just prior to 6 pm Sunday evening. There were 2,643 fatalities due to the coronavirus. In Floyd County, there were 414 confirmed cases and 15 deaths. Gwinnett County reported the highest number of confirmed cases in the Peach State with 6,151. Fulton County reported the most deaths with 304.
