FLOYD COUNTY HAS MADE GOOD USE OF ‘EXTRA TIME’ WHICH HAS RESULTED FROM PANDEMIC

The Floyd County Commission met in regular session on Tuesday. This was their second in-person meeting since the outset of the coronavirus pandemic. It was broadcast live on Facebook.

Commissioner Allison Watters says that in these days of coronavirus, county officials have faced some tough questions, like whether or not its employees should continue to work from home and when will big events will resume at the Forum River Center. However, she adds, great work has been completed, like renovations at State Mutual Stadium and trail improvements.
