OVER 71,000 GEORGIANS HAVE NOW BEEN INFECTED WITH THE CORONAVIRUS

More than 71,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 71,095 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide as of 3 pm on Thursday. There were 2,745 fatalities related to the coronavirus. In Floyd County, there were 466 confirmed cases and 15 deaths. Gwinnett County had the highest number of confirmed cases in the state with 7,223. Fulton County had the most fatalities with 309.
