If you have experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who has the virus, get tested! This is the encouragement of Tim Herrington, Director of the Floyd County Emergency Management Agency, who adds that testing is offered free of charge by the Georgia Department of Public Health at West Rome Baptist Church, located at 914 Shorter Avenue. Results are available within 24-48 hours.
This testing site is open every Monday through Friday from 9 am until 5 pm and each Saturday from 9 am until noon. Additional details are available on the DPH’s website at www.dph.georgia.gov.
